
Some moss from our yard, a few pebbles collected from the beach, a couple needlefelted snails hanging out, and some egg shells sewn with millet seeds. Hopefully soon we'll have grass!
ETA: I had meant to include that I got the idea for this project from the book The Children's Year, a great book if you interested in Waldorf-style crafting, or even if you aren't! It has many projects in it that you can do with older kids. It's one of my favorites!

i just found your blog today... that spring table piece is truly amazing, thanks for the review on the book, it's one i've been contemplating for the kids and myself... i'm so sorry to read about the loss of your baby, and wishing you and your family well. i'll definitely be checking back!
